Regal Confections, that we know today, was founded in 1962. At the time its activities were focused on imports from Europe. The company increased its business activities by adding manufacturing, packaging, marketing and product development, which have all contributed to Regal's growth over the past 50 years.

Regal Confections is a leader in distribution, packaging and manufacturing of quality chocolate and non-chocolate confectionary products. Regal operates 3 distribution centers across Canada namely in St-John's; Newfoundland, Montréal; Québec and Toronto; Ontario. This infrastructure allows Regal to service all trade classes in the Canadian marketplace.

Regal Confections distributes such well known brands as Tootsie Rolls, Dubble Bubble, Comet, McCormicks, Moritz Icy Squares, Pez, Rockets, Topps, Jean-Talon chocolates, Zero Bars, Too tarts, Cookie Dough Bites and a special gift baskets division under the brand Sweet Expressions.

Regal also markets a wide variety of products under special licensing agreements like Disney, Marvel, Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, Fox, Sanrio, Classic Media, and Warner Brothers, who own well known licenses like Princess, Cars, Fairies, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Spider-Man, Shrek, Sponge Bob, Dora and Diego, Simpsons, Hello Kitty, Frosty the snowman and Justice Leagues.
